Using the filters in Infor CRM is a valuable tool for quickly sorting data. Did you know they are directly correlated to the group you are viewing? Filters are based off of what is in your layout…but note not ALL fields are able to become a filter. There is a way to create custom filters that is more of an advanced option that Simplesoft is happy to help with.

Let’s take a look at how easy it is to adjust in a few clicks!

You can edit your layout and filters within groups in each CRM entity. The ability to edit captions in the layout section of group editor is a great tool if you have customer fields you wish to rename.

Have you performed your system checks recently?

As Saleslogix system administrators, you need to mind the system checks and keep the shop tidy.  Two things come to mind right away as higher priority checks.   The only way to know your systems are running correctly for sure is to take the time to review the logs and confirm the results.

Reminder #1 – Confirm your database and system backups

First, if you are on premise you need to tend to the presumed confirmations that your database backups are being successfully performed – according to your maintenance plans.  Note: If you have a Saleslogix cloud deployment, this database step is being performed on your behalf.

Reminder #2 – Run your Saleslogix Integrity Checker

Secondly, in Saleslogix there is a built in tool that allows a Saleslogix administrator to review the health of their Saleslogix platform.  The handy utility is called the Integrity Checker and is an out-of-the-box application to check the database integrity and confirm the status of the Saleslogix data.

For the administrator, there are many things to think about to keep your systems running in top shape.  Here are a couple of easy tasks to put on a recurring reminder and check as needed.  Remember that your business data is the lifeblood of your company.  Call us for additional training or support assistance.
